Salehoo vs Worldwide Brands sounds like the battle of the titans from the dropshipping space.
If you’ve been dabbling in the ecommerce space for any amount of time, you’ve probably noticed the amount of misinformation that is out there.
Ecommerce is one of the most dangerous niches. Meaning that there are A TON of predatory gurus that are willing to lie and take your money in a heart beat.
When I first started working in this space, there were much more unethical people, than there were honest marketers. Now, in 2021, nothing has really changed.(1)
Ecommerce is still filled with misinformation and it will likely stay like this for a long time from now on.
This is also the reason that I started this blog. To share my experience and to give honest advice to anyone who starts out in online marketing.
One of the biggest problems in ecommerce is that it’s very difficult to find reliable suppliers. High quality products are not easy to find, but it is definitely still possible to start a legitimate business and provide a good service to your customers.
If you’re here to find out which directory is better between SaleHoo and Worldwide Brands, you’re in the right place. I’ve tried both of them (and many others) in my career as an online business owner.
In this article, we will go over everything you should know about both of them, and my honest opinion on which one of them you should choose.
SaleHoo vs Worldwide Brands
In order to find out which one is better between the 2, we need to analyze the features of both of them.
Also, we will take into account the pros and cons of Worldwide Brands, as well as SaleHoo’s.
With that in mind, let’s jump straight into it.
Biggest Supplier Base
One of the most important aspects that need to be taken into account is the supplier base. In order to find a reliable supplier, well … you need to have many options.
SaleHoo has quite a large base, consisting of more than 8000 suppliers. In their database there are almost 2 million products, which is very nice.
Their directory includes products in many niches, such as clothing, technology, kitchen supplies, and so on. It basically has products in any category you can think of.
That’s always good, as I found myself having good ideas in regards to new products, which I then search online. I’m sure you do to.(4)
SaleHoo has suppliers from all over the world. But most importantly, it has suppliers from the countries you actually want products from like China, United Kingdom, New Zeeland, Australia and the United States. I suggest you look for suppliers from these countries, as they tend to have high quality products.
Also, the suppliers from these countries tend to be more helpful towards people that are non necessarily tech savvy. So, you don’t need to worry if sometimes you don’t understand the technical stuff.
At the same time, Worldwide Brands also has a large number of suppliers. Even larger than SaleHoo’s!
They actually have more than 15 million products on their platform. BUT as you can imagine, not all of them are high quality.
To be honest, I’m almost sure that most of their products haven’t even been used yet. There are just too many of them.
Both SaleHoo and Worldwide Brands offer very nice evaluation process. For example, you can go to the warehouse and check the quality of the product yourself.
Also, you can have discussion with the suppliers and check their overall record and history of the brand.
If you didn’t know, in order to establish how large the profit margins are, you first need to find out what the minimum order is.
Meaning how little stock do the suppliers allow you to buy at once. Both Worldwide Brands and SaleHoo offer similar option.
Another thing to take into account is the marketplace you plan to sell your products. For example, if you decide to sell your products on Amazon, you will probably struggle.
As you can imagine, there is a lot of competition on Amazon. Therefore, your profit margin will be lower.
So, what does this mean? Well … the suppliers will probably not lower the price at which they will sell you the products in order for you to have more profit. They don’t really care about you, as you can probably imagine.
So, what can you do? Well, my advice is to open your own ecommerce shop.(5)
You don’t need Amazon or other big platforms to sell your products on. For that, I suggest you look into the 100k blueprint, as it will teach you all about that.
Anyway, I would say that both platforms allow you to make quite high profits with the products on their platforms. It’s just up to you to market them.
My experience with both companies was really good. SaleHoo has an excellent customer support service. They are always very prompt in responding to your messages, as well as very helpful.
Worldwide Brands also has a good customer support. They even give you resources like e-books in order to help you run an ecommerce business.
If you’ve read my SaleHoo review, you know that I talked about the amazing forum that they have. It’s full of valuable information and there are a lot of successful ecommerce business owners that are ready to answer your questions.
Well, unfortunately I can’t say the same thing about Worldwide Brands. Their forum is like a ghosttown.(6)

SaleHoo costs $67 per year for full access to their database and forum, while Worldwide Brands charges you $299 for lifetime access.
If you don’t care about money, then go for Worldwide Brands. But if you want to save some money in order to start your shop, I suggest going for SaleHoo.(7)
My advice is to get access to SaleHoo for 1 year and see how things are going. You can use the $232 that you save for Facebook ads for example.
Final Verdict: SaleHoo vs Worldwide Brands
Both platforms are good. I’ve had positive experiences with both of them since starting my online business career.
I’ve been using SaleHoo for several years now and I have only positive things to say about them. In my opinion, the main difference between the 2 is the forum.
If you ever have questions in regards to dropshipping or ecommerce, feel free to use the SaleHoo forum. It’s full of experienced entrepreneurs that don’t mind helping others.
Also, I suggest going for SaleHoo because of the cheaper price. As mentioned above, I would use the leftover money to start my shop or invest in some kind of ads in order to get more traffic to my shop.
Also, if you purchase SaleHoo for 1 year, you have more than enough time to decide whether or not ecommerce is for you.
Also, you can start a SaleHoo trial for only $1. They have a special offer at the moment.
